Didn't I write you fan-mail once? Long time ago I think...Anyways, I was just serfing the web and then I see this book Jekel Loves Hyde and I'm like 'hmm this sounds like something I like' and then I go to amazon to check it when all of a sudden I see 'Beth Fantaskey' and I'm like 'where do I know that name?' then I realize oh snap! Jessica's guide! Love that book! And then I go to this website because I like getting primary source information and I see the wedding story and I decide to read it instead of doing my homework. As I'm reading I notice 'Catch the Bouquet' and I'm thinking what is that and why is it on top of chapter one? Did I miss a chapter? But no! It lead me to this contest! Serendipitous, no?

Just finished reading Jessica's Guide To Dating On The Dark Sie. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it!!!! I am reading The Wedding now. Lucius is soo chivalrous and wow!!. Great job on writing the book. Such a wonderful flowing book.

I read Jessica's Guide because I'm a huge vampire fan....and I absolutely loved it. It blew Twilight away and I'm a huge Twi-fan. The plot is amazing. I read it in one day and stayed up until 2 in the morning to finish it. I just could not put it down. I loved the characters and the way they developed throughout the story. This book actually brought tears to my eyes.

When I first came across Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side, I was in the local Walmart. Everyone may say, "Don't judge a book by it's cover," but alas, I literally do judge books by their covers. Anyway, I picked it up from the shelf it was on and read the back. I didn't buy it that day, however. I bought it actually, last Sunday. I just finished it today. It is a fabulous story and I could really visualize the scenery, especially becauce I live in Pennsylvania. Lucius and Antanasia are now one of my favorite literary couples. Jessica's Guide To Dtaing on The Dark Side is my favorite book i absolutely love it.I read it in one day and keep re-reading over and over. You really made the characters real to me its like they're jumping off the pages and right into my room as i'm reading, its like i've entered their world and seeing what the characters would. I love the story between Jessica and Lucius its perfect. I like how they start off at odds but then at the end its the happy ending you were sitting on the edge of your seat hoping for. Your an excellent writer and im so glad i got this book.

Hi I'm Stefania (34 years old) and I'm from Italy. I love this book and I loved from the first page. In Italy is called "promessi vampiri", which means promised vampires. I think Lucius is incredible, he loves so much Antanasia and he decides to renounce to her to save her suol,her life and her destiny. He is a gentleman, and in so sexy ( because there are no men like him????? :-(((( Antanasia is so determined to recover her love, and so she changes her life, family and moved halfway around the world to find Lucius and regain him. I think one of the best books I've read. Thank you very much Beth for giving us a story so passionate, unique and incredibly romantic.

Wow, and I mean wow. I never really thought about going to a wedding and trying to catch a bouquet. I'm Italian, so Europe is really my homeland. Sad, I've never visted Rumania, but now every time I look at the sky and the moon is high in that same sky that you can see from nearly everywhere in Europe, that same moon that I know Romanians can see, I only want to leave. Away, away, far away... In a forest, or by the Reno, that same river I want to go back to, since I was recently in the waters of that same river, even if in Germany... I long to go see that landscapes, the places Lucius' voice made me dream of. I loved that wonderful young man whose words gave me hope that, even if only on the pages of a book, honor and loyalty, and so many lost values still exist. I believe I'd do everything to have the love between the to young vampires, I can say I'd die for it, but they are luckier because they do not have to die for it, in the book, and not only because they are vampires. Love is a deadly weapon, one that cuts deep to the heart. You only have to be willing to be hurt to achieve it, at least a little bit. I hope in love, and hope never dies, even if ordinary people are not immortal...

When I fist heard of you're book I was a bit skeptical about reading it. Now that I have I can see that the title, although somewhat bland, makes a lot of sense. I feel like, in order for you to appreciate how much I love this book, I should tell you that I am not a big romantic. Yet as I read this book I found myself falling in love with the romanticism. I was jealous when Jessica (or Antanasia) was jealous and I was immensely happy when she was. I am so very ecstatic that you posted up the wedding It was truly something to see -yes see, not read because I saw everything so very clearly in my head. I read a lot of books and although I may be a random fan and no one who bares any real weight to you or your career, this book has reached my top 20 list. And may I add that it is not the twentieth or the nineteenth lol. P.S. I was completely enchanted by this book! It took me less than 2 days to read and I was heartbroken when it had to end. I am a Twilight fan and I can honestly say that Stephenie Meyer has met her mach. The fact that Lucius and Antanasia's relaionship was not just physical, but emotional (unlike another popluar vampire couple) really spoke to me. It shows that there is more to teen relationships than physical intimacy, there is also being able to understand and care about the other. Also, I found that the fact that there reationship had struggles, therefore made it all the more admirable, more realistic to similar experiences in today's teens. It left me not on a dream cloud of unrational fantasies as the Twilight Series had, but that I could make my own destiny, I had the power to make what I want happen. It made me want to pluck up my courage and ask out my own "Jake". Antanasia's character inspired me to wake up from my world of living in fear of reality and made me want to accept the world for the beautiful place that it is, despite the small evil that lies within the things we love. Thank you for writing such a beautiful book that made the previous two days of my life magical ones. I hope to soon read another one of your fantastic works of literary art. Hi, I've been wanting to read Jessica's Guide since seeing it on the shelf at Barnes and Noble back in February of this year but did not get a chance to. I finally got the chance to recently and I'm so glad I did. In a matter of about five hours today I read from beginning to end. I couldn't seem to put down the book for long and I was secretly rooting for Jess and Luc from the beginning hehe. I thought this different perception on vampires to be very interesting. I'm so glad it turned out so well and I'm eager to read the next installment!!!

Im only 12yrs of age and yet I loved this book! I told many of my friends about it and they went to buy it. They agree with me on how deeply romantic and thrilling this book is. I was so tired at school today because yesterday I stayed awake reading it. I could barely tear my eyes away from the pages I turned until my mother came yelled at me to go to sleep and shut my lights off. Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side was a phenomenal read, the way you write the story, the imaginary my imagination calls up to accompany your words is awe inspiring. I sobbed when Lucius dented Jessica's heart once again with the necklace on her birthday and I was terrified to read on when Lucius caught Jessica attempting to sneak in to his home. I read the prologue to your next book Jekyll Loves Hyde just moments ago, that too looks like an enthralling read. Would I be correct in my thinking that both tales seem to be based in older stories? I must admit when I first picked up this book I was a little hesitant. But my friend (Natasha) kept telling me to read it because it was amazing. So, I finally picked it up and I couldn't put it down! I am serious, I got it one Friday afternoon and I decided that I would start it that night. So, I picked it up started reading and stayed up until 4:32 in the morning to finish it because it was that good. Hey I agree with Samantha White and a lot others here. I and a huge fan of the books of Twilight -Not so much of the 1st movie- And your book is better then all the Twilight books. I loved the book and the wedding was amazing. When i was reading your book, it was like i could feel what Jessica was feeling. I was hoping that in the end Lucius would find his way to her and that Jessica to him and her true identity. I thought your story brought out the essence of love. You are the first person since William Shakespear to actually envoke that feeling without the reader actually experiencing it for themselves. Your book will ultimately one day become a classic story of love lost and found. And I'm hoping that the wedding of Lucius and Antanasia isn't the last I hear about their story. Delicious and delightful story. Exactly two and a half pages into the first chapter, I was hooked when Jessica heard him say "Anastasia"-her old name. What a hook. I liked the intro so much that I went back just to read the first few pages aloud. If I were a middle or high school student, I would love it if my teacher were to incorporate this novel in the curriculum.

This was one of my favorite books. Each time Lucius was in the scene my heart pounded! I just loved it.

I just finished the book and I loved it!!!! I have dyslexia. I use to hate reading all of the time and school just sucked. My parents loved that I was starting to read. After reading Twilight and not seeing its 'obvious appeal', i was wary of reading another vampire romance novel but Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side rocked my socks! Oh my god! When I read this book I couldn't put it down. I read until at least 3 in the morning. I skipped meals and did everything I could just to keep reading it. The Best book ever and I have read a lot of vampire books. Beth Fantaskey is one of the best writers of all time. I love her book! I am obsessed! I keep reading it over and over again. I was blind sided when i started reading and i couldnt put the book down. The only vampire book(s) i have read is the Twilight Series. After reading that series i refused to read anymore Vampire books but your book is honestly one of the best books i have read. If you had started a series with Jessica aka Anastasia and Lucious i, with out a doubt, think you could of put up some series competition with Stephanie Meyer. HI. :D I'm going to re-iterate all that I said on the other link. Hi! (again) I JUST finished this book and I just have to say: I LOVED EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF IT. It was THE BEST vampire book I've read next to Vampire Academy. Oh My God. I have NEVER experienced so many different emotions when reading a book. I was yelling half the time at Lucius and Jessica at times and then at Jake when he staked him. But WOW. This book is AMAZING. In the words of my brother, Dude, it was riculously SICK. Let's see I started reading the book sometime around 6:00 PM and now it's 11:51 PM according to my clock. I read a good while straight. But it was definitely worth every single second. I was in shock by the time it was done since everything was falling apart and it had only a couple of pages to go. I'm sorry for continuously repeating this but WOW. I am....in shock and awe right now and I'm pouring my heart out to you. Ahh...ANYWAY if you do do a sequel then THANK YOU SO GOD-DAMNED MUCH. If you don't, THANK YOU SO GOD-DAMNED MUCH FOR WRITING THE FIRST ONE. I must say I love the character of Lucius. He isn't Edward Cullen the so called "perfect" vampire boyfriend (who by the way, I kinda like too but that's not the point. Besides, I prefer blondes--Jasper). But what I loved about Lucius is that he has his flaws and he's not so "perfect". And it's because of those flaws, that I think he's such a loveable character. As for Jessica, I like her. She's feisty and somehow, reminds me of me. I have to say though, I REALLY HATE Faith. And Ethan. And Frank. GRRR. If I met them I'd smack them in the face till they bled and have the Vladescus and Dragomirs run then over. I know, HARSH but they're horrible people. Sorry for my ranting. Beth, What caught my attention first was your expressive book cover and your witty title. Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side is the most fitting and most humorous title you could've come up with. Within the first chapter I was captivated by your writing style. You have a great sense of balance and can get an emotion or scene across with only a few words. I read the Epilogue as I usually do with books I don't want to end, without distraction, in a quiet place, reading some aloud to myself. The conclusion was beautifully written, and really stirred emotion with Lucius' request to be able to "affectionately," call Antanasia's parents Mother and Father. And I do love the fact that you have misplaced Raniero and Mindy...hmmmmm!

I devoured this book! Once I finished reading it the first thing I did was googled for a sequel. To my great surprise, I found something better...the story continued on your website (so thankful I don't have to wait another year or so to read more of their story)! If your fans begged and pleaded would you agree to write more about Lucius and Jess even beyond their wedding? These are two characters that I honestly can't get enough of and it seems there is SO much more of their story worth reading about. I need to know if Lucius stays loyal to her. I need to see how they lead the Vampire clans together, how Antanasia fares as the Vampire Princess. It's frustrating to think that soon there won't be any more of their story to read about. I finally was able to find a copy of your book! It took me only one day to read it, I couldnt put it down. I have been a huge fan of Charlaine Hariss since 2003 and Twilight. I have been having a hard time finding another book that I can truly get into. I saw yours recommended on "Good Morning America" and I had been trying since. I must have drove The book store crazy with calls and visits just to see if they had it in yet. I was able to get the last copy they had in stock and I have to say I LOVE IT!! I LOVE "JESSICA'S GUIDE TO DATING ON THE DARK SIDE". i think it is an AWESOME book. at first, when i was reading the part where Jess doesnt believe him about being a vampire, and thinks that the fangs are an illusion, i was thinking, "WHAT!!i would soooo believe him!!" and then when she DID start believing him, and he was with faith, i was all like "What???Lucius, you dummie!!" but by the time i finished the book (today!), i saw, that she needed NOT to believe at first for everything to work out that way it did. Had she been eager to go with him to Romania, and get married to him, barely any questions asked, everything would have worked out for Lucius's evil uncle, but lukcly, because she didnt, in the end she was able to show Lucius that he wasnt evil, and that he didnt need to turn out like his unlce, and that he really did feel. either way, I LOVED THE BOOK AND SO CANNOT WAIT TO READ THE SECOND ONE!!!!

As you can tell Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side was a huge hit! I loved the book, not just for the story line but also the writing style. My friend recommended the book to me and I couldn't put it down; every chance I got I was reading the book! What I love so much about Jessica's Guide to Dating on The Dark Side is that I was truly growing angry with some of todays writers. I'm not saying anything bad about anybody, but for Heaven's sake where is the passion? Where is the true love at? And Beth's book found me on that day and gave me hope that I can still believe in the writers of today. I read this book in 6 straight hours - never had anything captivated me so much. And I never almost fainter or giggle or actually even Cried like that when I thought Lucius died, my heart literally ached. And I have to say Lucius is my idea OF THE PERFECT GUY, he can BITE me anytime, lol. Seriously best book EVER and Beth captivated me by the truth, Shakespeare understood what it meant to burn -to be on fire for love. And Beth proved to me she does too! I admire her so much and I hope that I will be half the writer she is! This is true - this is real love, this is a masterpiece and I would love to have this sequel because I won't be able to think straight until I know what happens, I can't SLEEP (I promise) because I want to know what happens, not to mention I owe Beth a huge Thank you because you gave me hope that one day I will find my Romeo, and I won't settle until I find someone so passionate and that loves me as much as Lucius loves jessica, not mention my name is jessica! Your book just captured me and made me feel like I could relate to Jessica. Her reaction with Lucious was so realistic and the growth in their relationship was at a normal pace.
