I think they should just kiss because,like Lucius said,it's very private,and in my opinion,I dont know if the guest's will be very comfy watching that...so,I think they should stick with the kiss,then later in private they can do whatever they want to each others necks.But,i must admit,the book was amazing! I've read sooo many times! i cant wait to read about their wedding!

I think it should be number 1 because the biting is way too intimate to be performed in public. However the kiss seems like it is not enough so maybe they could prick their fingers or something, put their blood into a cup and share a drink from it. I think that it should be only the kiss which is choice #1. It is because it will go along with the traditions that Jessica grew up with and also because if Jessica or should I say Antansia would invite some people who are not used to seeing people biting each other at the throat and this might creep tem out. Also as Lucius said biting at the throat should be a private intimate moment not a public spectacle. I also believe that Jessica would like the be the center of attention while doing this, so I believe that they should just go with the traditional kiss and leave the throat biting for the honeymoon.

Ok, I agree with alot of the others out there. It needs to be both one and three. They need to have a wedding but they also need to show that she has been bitten and claimed by him in order to show that there is no desiving on his end and a true comitment on hers. I totally agree with Marie (september 14), i really think that they should passionately kiss at their wedding infront of all their guests and then for their wedding night both bite each other. They should do it when they are having sex. Lucius should be the first, again, but doing it in a sort of way that shows how he truly loves her, caressing her gently and looking deeply into her eyes. That would be Perfect!!

Okay so this is going to be fairly long becuase my answer is not an easy, simple number. However i choose three THOUGH NOT BOTH DURING THE WEDDING. I agree with our amazing author that so far other then that one bit the two have barely really touched each other. So I think that for the wedding a simple passoniate kiss would do. I say passonaite becuase it can't be a simple peck on the lips. It would show how far they have come, how much they mean to each other. But more then that it will show thier people that they were not forced into this and that while they were pressured into this they came about it in thier own terms. It would also be a sign to her enemy to come that she really loves lucis and loves him enough to do what ever it takes to stay with him. I say this becuase it's only logical that theirs going to be a vampire girl who is going to try to pull lucis away from jessica. Or in general you can't make a second book without some kind of bad guy. So the kiss would tell the bad guy or girl that they really love each other and they are willing to die for each other. Kay so now for the bit part. The ending of the first book almost killed me. I so wanted to know what happened next. So I think after the wedding party and it's just the two of them there NEEDS to be another bite. I think that the bite would help calm her down a bit becuase after all it is her wedding night. It would also be very sweet of Lucis. I am assuming that girls was one thing being a prince that he did not lack. I could be wrong but that is of course our amazing authors decion. During the bit it would be a good chance to show how soft and sweet he can be which we really haven't gotten a chance to see yet. I know I am curoise how well lucis kisses are but that might just be me. In any case so yeah kiss during the wedding and a bite during thier wedding night. Hopefully I am not the only one that feels this way and maybe we should have an option # 4. By the way I am a hudge fan of this series and I am a author myself just not a published one yet. #3...BUT since Lucius said that biting is such a private thing, this is what I think: I think that at the actual wedding ceremony, they should just share a kiss infront of everyone, and then, to officially seal their bond or whatnot, they should bite each other at the end of the reception...kinda like how older cultures used to talk about consummating the marriage...they kiss in public and later on they do the intimate seal..so I think it fits that they kiss in public and then bite later on to really strengthen their bond..lol sorry this was such a long explanation!

3 Kiss and Bite... Since a wedding is an intimate affair, I think that Lucius and Jess would make an exception. Though I do agree that they can Kiss for everyone and than bite in private. Biting each other is an eternal kiss. Even though Lucius already bit her, it's part of an eternal commitment that they are making to each other.

Though since biting is a very private and very intimate act, what if they had to use two of those special golden chalices that vampires use only at their weddings, one for Lucius and one for Jessica. And during the ceremony, their wrists are slightly cut open to allow their blood to flow separately into each other's own cup, allowing them to share each other's blood that way without having to bite each other in front of a whole crowd. Then shortly afterwards they will seal their eternal bond with a much anticipated kiss. Leaving the intimate neck biting for the honeymoon.

I'd just like to add to my previous post. Of course, they could always brush eachothers lips with their fangs and draw blood. That could be a real kiss that is both human and vampiric. I can see it now *smile* -Christina :D

1- The Kiss. I believe in what Lucius says- regarding biting is something private. However, I think their kiss should really tell a story. I'm not saying to make-out infront of everyone, but put enough passion to show that they want to be with eachother forever. Also, I feel it would be absolutly perfect if Lucius hints at a "true kiss" or something of the sort for later in the evening... it'd get a BITE out of that ;) (if you know what I mean) -Christina :)

A bite to the neck should be saved for the bedroom and his study...again.

I vote number 3. Yes, it goes out of original context, but at the same time, has anyone ever written a vampire wedding before? There may be traditions no one has thought of as of yet.

#1. I think that a kiss should suffice to keep with Jessica's American traditions. The bite is an intimate act that should be intimate between Jessica and Lucius. No one expects the bite because probably all who attend are Dragomirs or Vladescus(besides they all know that the bite is meant to be a private thing and not a public display) as well as Mr. and Mrs. Packwood. Unless Jessica invites her friend, I don't see any problems.

(#1 and here is why) Jessica and Lucius should have a first Kiss as MR & MRS VLADESCU,its traditional at wedding's and it is an another way to show how much you love each other.i know jessica would want a first kiss as MRS VLADESCU,because she was raised here,and she is new to the vampire would.Lucius has told Jessica,"biting is very private, very intimate.You don’t just invite people to watch". i know Lucius is not for bitting in front of others.

Definitely a kiss. But not just any kiss, a kiss of true love. The biting is too intimate. However;I think before Lucius kisses her, he should whisper in her ear, "Right now I kiss you but later..." or something like that and he smiles. Hehehe. I just get giddy thinking about it.

3 I think it should be sealed with a kiss and then a bite. A beautiful tender kiss because they have that aspect in their relationship, but also a vampiric bite because they are passionate for one another (esp Lucius) and I think Jess is very passionate about him. I think possibly she'd get nervous about it... leading up.. but once "Man and wife" for eternity is exclaimed and the kiss comes... I believe that to her... he's all that matters and vice versa. I know that in such a beautiful moment like that - everyone around must become fuzzy if not all together disappear to where they are the focus of one another. And maybe they won't go for the neck... I think that a bite at the wrists could be just as beautiful. Like you know how man and wife twist arms when feeding cake or wine glasses... they'd do that.. and bite each other lol. Possibly... an idea. Or they delicately take each other's wrists? Because... it kinda resembles a blood bond too you know? I know you'd come up with a beautiful way to incorporate it if 3 gets picked :o)
